Susie’s Chicken & Fries rolled onto the streets of Sumter, South Carolina, in 2019, the brainchild of veteran restaurateur Chris, who brought more than three decades of kitchen know-how to a single food truck.

Though the brand has grown massively, Chris still insists on small-batch frying and greeting regulars by name, proof that the heart of Susie’s story is family, flavor, and community.
